Competitive Acro

Competitive Programs

Pre-Competitive Team

Ages: 6-12
Hours: 4 per week
Days: Monday, Friday (Sept-June), Tues, Thurs (July/Aug)
Program: USDP Levels 2-5

Our Provincial Competitive team works with the USA Gymnastics (USAG) Acro Developmental Program (ADP). The ADP program is level based gradually progressing athletes through compulsory skills becoming more and more advanced as the level increases. The pre-competitive levels are designed to allow athletes to try out both base and top positions. Athletes in this program may be invited to the competitive program if positions open up and they are ready for the challenge.

Provincial Team

Ages: 7-18
Hours: 6-9 per week (Up to 3 Days)
Days: Tuesday, Thursday, (Sunday)
Program: USDP Levels 5,6 (Level 7 in some instances)

Our Provincial Competitive team works with the USA Gymnastics (USAG) Acro Developmental Program (ADP). The ADP program is level based gradually progressing athletes through compulsory skills becoming more and more advanced as the level increases. ADP athletes at levels 7 and up are able to introduce optional skills to showcase their individual strengths and provide additional freedom.

National Team

Ages: 9-25 (Including adult athletes)
Hours: 9-12+ per week (Up to 4 days)
Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, (Monday)
Programs: USDP Levels 7 thru 10, Youth, FIG

Our National Competitive Team follows the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique internal programs. The skills in this program range from developing basics in competitive levels to the highest World Elite Senior levels. Also included is the Youth program which is a transitional level introducing athletes to the World Age Group skills, but with some reduced requirements.
